Foundation
The club was founded and became independent in 2004, after the team that most of the players played for was disbanded earlier in the year by Colliers Wood United F.C.. Players John Bedford, John Fisher, Andy Buckley and Paul Holman formed the new club and became the inaugural committee. In naming the club, the founders sought a name to closely relate the club to the geography of most of the players. After two knee operations John Fisher’s playing career was at an end and it was agreed by all that he would be an excellent choice as the Team Manager.
After the initial club foundation, they were accepted into the Premier Division of the South Thameside Sunday Football League on 27th July, 2004 and continued to play in the league for 4 seasons. Seeking a new challenge, in 2008, the team moved to the Leatherhead & District Premier League, spending 14 seasons there. In 2022, the team moved to the Southern Sunday League – Championship division.

Club Colours
As most of the players played for Colliers Wood United F.C. who play in blue/black Inter Milan stripes, the club decided to adopt the red/black stripes of A.C. Milan as the clubs colours as a change. The original second strip colours of Orange were taken from the clubs kit sponsor. In more recent years the club have adopted Blue shirts for the second kit following a sponsorship with a local Italian restaurant, and most recently a Green kit following support from a local Mexican restaurant chain.
Club Badge “Toute la journee”?
It was decided that the club badge should include a motto and player Andrew Wood is credited with the idea to include the popular phrase among the players ‘toute la journee’ previously used for sledging during matches against the opposition. This favourable phrase was coined during a pre-season tournament when the team played French opposition. The phrase translates as ‘all day’ meaning in football terms that the opposition is too easy and ‘we can do this all day’.
The club crest was designed by John Bedford and is based on that of West Ham United, initially so the club motto could be easily detailed on the crest. In 2019, it was decided that the club logo be updated, especially since the original design was not of optimal quality for embroidery printing. The new badge design was simplified and based on AFC Bournemouth shape and adopting AC Milan style St. George cross alongside the clubs Red/Black colours. The banding with the club motto was retained as an overlay to the new shield style badge.
